What we collect
When you use Deal Hunter, we collect the following data:
- Google account info (name, email, profile picture) — used for authentication only.
- Listing data (title, price, description) — scraped from list.am pages you visit. This data is sent to our server solely to generate negotiation messages and is not stored permanently.
- Generated messages — stored for usage analytics and service improvement.
- Usage statistics — number of messages generated, language preference, credit consumption.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your browsing history.
- We do not collect data from any website other than list.am.
- We do not collect your list.am account credentials.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
How we use your data
- To authenticate you and manage your account.
- To generate AI-powered negotiation messages based on listing context.
- To track credit usage (free weekly allowance).
- To improve the quality of generated messages.
Third-party services
- Google OAuth — for authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- OpenRouter / OpenAI — listing data and conversation context are sent to AI providers to generate messages. No personal information is included in these requests.
Data storage
Your data is stored on secure servers. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. We retain usage logs for service improvement and may delete them periodically.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Signing out of the extension clears all locally stored data.
Permissions explained
- list.am access — to read listing details and inject the AI negotiation button.
- Storage — to save your preferences and authentication token locally.
- Identity — to enable Google Sign-In.
- Side Panel — to display the negotiation interface.
